Ghost Mannequin
Create studio product photos with an invisible mannequin effect. A sample prompt and garment photo are ready to try—edit the prompt or replace the image with your own.
Create a ghost mannequin photo in three steps
Turn a garment reference into a hollow, dimensional product photo, then check the details before using it.
Start with your garment photo
Try the sample or replace it with a clear photo of the whole garment on a mannequin, model, hanger, or flat surface. Add inside-collar or back references when those details matter.
Describe the invisible mannequin effect
Edit the preset to remove the wearer and supports while keeping the collar, buttons, seams, and fabric. Start with Nanobanana 2 or choose another image model, adjust the settings, and review the credit cost before generating.
Check and download your product photo
Compare the result with your garment. Check its shape, color, edges, collar, labels, and prints. Refine the prompt or references if needed, then download the product photo from your history.
Ghost mannequin photo FAQ
Practical guidance for removing the wearer and keeping your garment recognizable.
What is a ghost mannequin photo?
A ghost mannequin photo shows clothing with the volume of a worn garment but no person or mannequin visible inside. The hollow collar and natural garment shape help display its cut and construction. This tool uses your reference photo and editable prompt to create that effect.
Which garment photos work best?
Use a sharp photo showing the entire garment in even light. Photos on a mannequin, model, hanger, or a flat surface can serve as references. Avoid cropped hems and sleeves or objects covering the clothing. Add an inside-collar photo or a back view when you need those details represented.
Will the original fabric and garment details stay the same?
The preset asks the model to preserve the garment's color, fabric, cut, seams, and buttons, but AI edits can alter details. Compare stitching, fasteners, prints, and labels with the original before using the image as a product photo. Text and logos may need particular attention; accurate reproduction is not guaranteed.
How can I reconstruct the collar hidden by a mannequin?
Add a clear reference of the inside collar or the garment's back, and tell the model which image shows that detail. If the hidden area is absent from every reference, the model has to infer it and may invent construction or label details. Check the reconstructed neckline against the actual garment.
Can I change the white studio background?
Yes. The sample prompt requests a centered, front-facing garment on pure white with a subtle shadow. Edit that part of the prompt to describe another background, framing, or lighting setup for your product photo. Keep the garment-preservation instructions when changing the scene.
Which model does the ghost mannequin tool use by default?
This page starts with Nanobanana 2 and a sample garment reference. You can choose another available image model and change the prompt or reference images. Settings and reference limits vary by model, so review the available controls before generating.
Do I need an account, and how much does a ghost mannequin image cost?
Sign in to upload your garment photos and generate images. The credit cost depends on your selected model, image settings, and image count. The tool shows the total before you submit; see pricing for available plans and credits.
Where are my product photos saved, and what happens if generation fails?
Completed product photos appear in your history and Assets, where you can preview and download them. They remain saved until you delete them. Credits are returned when a task is marked Failed or Canceled. While the task awaits provider confirmation, its credits remain reserved. Check the status before submitting the same garment again.
